2006 Spring Programs – Revisions

Over the last couple weeks there have been a couple changes (and additions) made to our programming at the library. Since I thought it would be important to keep you up to date with everything, here are all of our changes! I will highlight anything that’s a change or addition.

Continuing Programs for Kids

Book Discussion Group for Grades 3 – 6
Fourth Friday of each month from 3:45 – 4:45 PM
March 24 – Bunnicula by James Howe
Note: After the March 24 meeting, instead of reading a specific book, we will read a specific genre and share our thoughts!

Knitting & Crocheting Gathering for Grades 4 – 8
Every other Thursday beginning January 5 from 4 -5 PM

Story times for wee ones
1 – 2 years Thursdays April 27 – May 25, from 10:30 – 10:50 AM
1 – 2 years Fridays April 28 – May 26, from 10:30 – 10:50 AM
3 – 5 years Mondays March 13 – May 15, from 10:30 – 11 AM
3 – 5 years Thursdays March 16 – May 18, from 1 – 1:30 PM

Special Programs for Kids

Make your own puppet!
April 17 from 2 – 3 PM
The puppets are limited, so please register for this event

Use your puppet in a puppet theatre!
April 19 from 2 – 3 PM
We will take a well known fairy tale of your choosing and create a play, which we will perform using the puppets you made on April 17

Hockey Presentation from SUNY Brockport
April 21 from 12 – 1 PM
Come meet Golden Eagles hockey players Greg Schwind and Captain Gordon Pritchard, and listen as they talk about what it’s like being a hockey player,
their equipment and more!

Springtime Story Hour Program
with the Arts for Children Club of SUNY Brockport
Saturday April 22 from 11 – 12 PM
This event will be for ages 3-5 year olds.
There will be books, songs, poems, and a craft at the end
