2007 Summer Reading Rules

Don’t Let the Pigeon Outread you this Summer…

This summer you will be competing against the pigeon from Mo Willems’ great pigeon series. The rules are easy:

  1. Come in on or after June 25th and get your tracking sheet (in which you write your name, age, phone number and the title of the book.
  2. If you’d like to, you can also add a brief description (plus whether or not you liked it) of your book on a separate piece of paper (or email it to me at: ckyle@libraryweb.org) which can be added to our book review blog: http://bluecover.wordpress.com/
  3. Read as many books as you can each week and keep track of the titles on the sheet.
  4. Each week bring in your sheet.
  5. You will receive a raffle ticket for each book you read as well as a prize for each week that you read.
  6. At the end of the summer we will raffle off all of the pigeon books and the newest Harry Potter book!
  7. Keep reading! The pigeon will be reading as well, and you don’t want him to read more books than you, do you?
  8. At the end of the summer everyone who has entered in one of the weekly drawings will be invited to a special invitation only party. You will get to meet the pigeon, participate in some fun activities and eat lots of yummy food!
