Thursdays for kids at 4 PM
1st Games – Board Games and electronic games
2nd and 4th Knitting and Chess Group
3rd – Family Book Discussion (5 pm) – Share a book of your own reading level, on a topic we choose together
5th Family Movie – G/PG movie

July 10 at 10:30 AM – Dance Program with Rebecca Rabideau
Interactive creative movement with stories for 3 to 5 year olds
Space is limited to 20


July 17 at 1 PM – Animal Drawing for kids with Mary Beth Dolan
Using simple shapes, letters and numbers to draw cartoon style animals- a program designed for the younger artists, age 5 and up!
Space is limited to 25 people

July 18 at 2 PM – Create a hemp bracelet
for 9-12 grade


July 23 at 11 AM – Magician Bill Rahn
Magician Bill Rahn, a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, will astound us with his amazing tricks and illusions. Don’t miss this fun-filled magical extravaganza!


July 30 at 2 pm – Family Bingo
Bingo for the whole family with snacks, prizes and lots of screaming “BINGO”!

July 31 at 2 PM – Cosplay Contest
for 9-12 grade


August 5 at 11 AM – Wild Wings Live Bird of Prey Demonstration
What is a raptor? Why and how are they different from other birds? The audience will be introduced to different families of raptors – an owl, a hawk and falcon. Learn the natural history, biology and physical adaptations of birds of prey. With many hands-on items we explore size, feathers, flying, hunting styles, beaks, feet and talons.


August 14 at 2 PM – Guitar Hero Tournament
for 9-12 grade

August 15
at 12 PM – End of the Summer Party
at 2 PM – Bugs and Moose Out on the Loose – Humorous Songs about our Natural World that Engage Everyone with musician Tom Sieling
This is a VERY participatory program (as in EVERY song), fun, humorous, lively (even a bit athletic!), and informative. He accompanies himself on guitar, banjo, harmonica… and a drum machine!
